Refurbish a clients’ electric pontoon pump which is used to supply water to the coal handling and preparation plant.

Achievements

Scope Equipment carried out in house fabrication and repairs to the pontoon in order to meet the current mine site compliance specifications. The electric motor was replaced with a new motor, and the pump impeller was trimmed to better suit the required duty that the client desired. The cost to refurbish the pontoon pump was less than half the cost of replacing the whole unit as well as this, Scope Equipment had the pontoon pump returned to the client quicker then the lead time of a new unit.
